Help Widows and Orphans
When you give to the widows and orphans fund you help us support single Moms and orphans being raised by extended family or friends.
When these young guys lost their father they and their Mom had to live in an unfinished house with no roof. The property is on the edge of town on a steep mountain slope. We were able to get a roof on it for them and then finish it out completely with all the doors and windows. We help them with clothes and school supplies. Recently we have helped their Mom start raising chickens to sell for income.
We partner with Agape Childrens Ministry, founded locally by a friend. Currently they are building housing to take in up to 20 orphans from their area. These children live with extended family or family friends who can not afford to care fro them. We have helped them with construction and with funds to help meet the needs of these children even before they are able to live on site.
Construction in Zanzibar
In Zanzibar we are building on a property in Paje Beach area. We constructed a store room and began building a fence around the property. Electricity is conected to the site and we have a shallow well for water now. Now we want to begin to build a house. This will be our residence. We also hope to add guest rooms to host visiting ministry teams and use the site for Youth Outreach.
