Help Widows and Orphans
When you give to the widows and orphans fund you help us support single Moms and orphans being raised by extended family or friends.
When these young guys lost their father they and their Mom had to live in an unfinished house with no roof. The property is on the edge of town on a steep mountain slope. We were able to get a roof on it for them and then finish it out completely with all the doors and windows. We help them with clothes and school supplies. Recently we have helped their Mom start raising chickens to sell for income.
We partner with Agape Childrens Ministry, founded locally by a friend. Currently they are building housing to take in up to 20 orphans from their area. These children live with extended family or family friends who can not afford to care fro them. We have helped them with construction and with funds to help meet the needs of these children even before they are able to live on site.
Ongoing Construction
This is a church building we helped to construct in 2024 in Chalinze area. The congregation there continues to grow and finish out their building on their own. In 2025 we are helping to launch a church building project in the Chogo area.
In 2024 our visiting Ministry Team helped with drilling a well and getting water for the Chogo Church and their community. The enthusiasm has grown and church members have been making bricks from the clay soil. In Feb 2025 we intend to help them build the foundation to get started.
We recently began to develop property in Mikumi Town. This small house is for a caretaker who will stay there to keep an eye on the place and prepare it for development. In the future we want to build facilities on this large property to host Youth Camps and other events.
In Zanzibar we are building on a property in Paje Beach area. We constructed a store room and began building a fence around the property. Electricity is conected to the site and we have a shallow well for water now. In 2025 we want to complete the fence and begin to build a house. This will be our residence. We also hope to add guest rooms to host visiting ministry teams.
